Having problems turning on your Samsung Galaxy because it won’t turn on? Here is how to fix it.

Make sure your phone has enough battery power.

There could be many reasons your phone is not turning on, but one of them is that perhaps your battery has run out of juice, and thus you cannot turn it on. Let your phone rest for around 15 minutes after plugging in a charging cable and plugging it into a power outlet. After you have done this, you should be able to see the Samsung logo at this point. In case that is not the case, continue reading our tips!

Using the Safe Mode feature on your Samsung Galaxy, reboot the device.

In some cases, your Samsung may not be able to start up because of a particular application you may have downloaded. The app may not be compatible with the software of your Samsung. The download of uncertified applications and programs can cause your device to lag and possibly crash if you download them from uncertified sources. A third-party program may be causing the problem because you are used to running your phone in Safe Mode, and overall performance is good on this phone.

If you wish to enable Safe Mode, press and hold down the power button for a few seconds until the Samsung logo appears on the screen and lets the feature power on. When the Samsung logo appears, you will need to release the power button, and then hold down the volume button until the Samsung logo appears. As soon as the device is turned on, you will see the home screen all displayed on the screen, and you will also see that Safe Mode will appear at the bottom of the screen.

How to perform a hard reset on a Samsung Galaxy

Hold your volume and power buttons down for 10 seconds to force reset your device. Your phone will be able to be restarted after you have disconnected the battery and restored it, and it should now work again.

Make sure that you are in Recovery Mode on your Samsung Galaxy.

The following steps will guide you through the process of restarting your device in recovery mode:

  1. Make sure that your device is turned off.
  2. You need to hold both the volume Up and the Bixby keys simultaneously. Then hold the Power key at the same time.
  3. Release all keys once you see the Samsung logo appear on the screen. Before the system recovery menu with options appears on your screen, you will see the installing system update message on your screen.
  4. To wipe the cache partition, hold down the volume down key.
  5. Click on the power key to select the option.
  6. The power key will be selected when you hold down the volume down key to click yes.
  7. To restart the device, press the power key after completing the wipe partition.

If the above does not work for you, what should you do?

After trying all the tips above, your Samsung Galaxy Mobile phone still needs to turn on. There may be a hardware problem. If this happens, 3C’s technicians in stores will need to assess your device.

In the meantime, check if your Samsung warranty still covers you before making an appointment with 3C’s. They may be able to solve this issue for you! There is a possibility that repairs will be free if you are still under Samsung’s warranty, but it does cost if the warranty has expired.

If Samsung’s warranty no longer covers you, you can come to 3C’s stores so that one of our technicians can look at your device. To ensure the issue lies with your Mobile phone’s hardware, we recommend running a diagnostic on your Mobile phone first. To identify the cause of your Samsung Mobile Phone not responding to commands or not turning on, our skilled technicians need to assess your MobilePhone and test each component to assess its functionality.

Water damage to your Mobile Phone

Water Damage to Your Mobile Phone

A Comprehensive Guide

How to deal with water damage to your Mobile Phone

We have all experienced that surge of panic after dropping our iPhones into the water. It may not be as bad as we think, so don’t panic. If you act quickly and immediately take your mobile phone to 3C’s repair specialists, your phone may still be able to be repaired. If that is not an option, say you dropped your mobile phone in the water late at night, you can prevent further damage and increase your chance of getting it working again. Here are the steps you need to follow:

Take immediate action

Modern mobile phones are not waterproof but water-resistant due to their metal frames, glass and sealants. So, it’s critical to act fast to have a chance of saving your mobile phone. Water can short-circuit mobile phone circuits, and sitting water will cause corrosion to the coils, resistors, and circuit boards. The mobile phone’s internal components can suffer further damage from salt, minerals, chemicals, and dirt.

Please ensure that the mobile phone is turned off.

To prevent damage to your cell phone, you should always turn it off when not in use. Attempting to perform other functions or pushing buttons could cause further damage.

Dry your mobile phone after removing the case.

With a microfiber cloth, dry off the outside of your mobile phone. If you don’t have one, you can use paper towels. Using your screen cleaner, you can sanitize your mobile phone. When drying out a phone, please do not rub it dry; gently pat it to absorb any water.

You need to remove the SIM card and any attachments.

The SIM card and microSD card, as well as the headphones and cords, should be removed. Using your SIM card in a replacement mobile phone may be possible if your SIM card or microSD has not been damaged. This will allow you to access your stored information even if your mobile phone is under repair.

Take the battery out of the device.

The battery should be taken out if possible. This is not possible with an iPhone. All of the other steps listed in the how-to get water out of your iPhone guide should still be done before proceeding with step 6.

is to hold the mobile phone upright

The phone needs to be propped up so that water cannot sit on any electronic components, which could cause corrosion. Water can also be removed from the charging port using this method. If your mobile phone needs to be repaired, bring it to 3C’s service centre immediately.

If you drop your mobile phone in the water, you should avoid doing these things.

  • Dry your phone by patting it rather than rubbing it.
  • It would help if you didn’t shake or blow on your mobile phone, as this could enter even more water.
  • Pushing buttons may cause further damage if it’s left on.
  • When drying, avoid using electricity or electrical devices like hair dryers, microwaves, and vacuums.
  • Extreme temperatures like freezing or near a radiator can damage the mobile phone.
  • Disassembling your phone beyond removing the battery, SIM card, and memory cards is not recommended because doing so could result in more damage or invalidate your warranty.

Remove moisture from a Mobile Phone using uncooked rice.

Uncooked rice is recommended all over the internet to dry out a mobile phone. Please do not attempt this, however. In the past, this trick may have worked for older mobile phones with removable backs and batteries, but it won’t work with the latest mobile phones. It has no long-term benefit and won’t work for any mobile phone. When a mobile phone is exposed to water, the minerals left behind will eventually damage it, causing it to become unresponsive over a few weeks or months. To prevent such a situation, you must seek the help of a specialist.
